iPhone 15 pro max battery drained

I recently moved from the iPhone 13 Pro Max to the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Overall, I'm not entirely satisfied with the new device. It feels a bit slower compared to the 13 Pro Max, and I've encountered issues with apps crashing.

My main complaint is the battery life; it drains quickly. For instance, it can go from 80% to 68% after just an hour of continuous use, whereas my iPhone 13 Pro Max, even after two years of use, only drops to 74% under similar conditions.

I've also noticed that the device gets quite hot while charging with the original 20-watt Apple charger. I'm not sure if this is a problem unique to my device, or if it's a more widespread issue that Apple will address in a future update.

It's disappointing to think that Apple may have compromised on quality or that there might be some software bugs causing these problems.
