old emails keep being deleted

I have no emails older than 3 years, they keep being deleted.


how do I stop this I can't find any setting to stop emails being deleted after a set time and now I have lost emails that I need

Go to the website of your mail provider, login in and delete old emails. If there is a trash can or deleted items folder, you'll need to empty the trash or delete the deleted items too.
