Airpods Gen 2 Battery issue

I have Airpods Gen 2. It is about 3 years old. Battery is getting discharged completely within 2 minutes when I use MS Teams and on phone call. For other apps, like Podcast, or other music apps, it runs much much longer - left earpiece for about 45 minutes and right ear piece for about 90 minutes. I use iPhone 13.

When using Teams or when I am on phone call, it drains in less than 2 minutes. When I put it back in the case, it charges instantly (under 30 seconds) to >80%. And I could again on Podcast for over 1 hour.

I tried on my macbook. Pretty much same. It drains in when using Teams very rapidly. But watching/listening other sites, for over 1 hour.

I tried resetting the airpods by pressing the button for about 30 seconds. But no luck.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
