My Left AirPod has not been connecting to my phone or iPad since I bought it a couple days ago, also the “Find my” says its not fully completed but doesn’t allow to complete it

I had bought the AirPods 3rd generation about 5 days ago, I have been able to connect them into my iPhone and iPad . However, when I put the left bud on and look into the Bluetooth, it says nothing is connecting. I have tried disconnecting and connecting the Bluetooth and resetting my AirPods, but no luck. The right ear has been easily able to connect like no other AirPods I had. But if I put both of them on only the right one would be able to connect. I had experienced both them working twice but if I took t out my ear it would go back to not working. In my “Find my” the AirPods say that setup incomplete. But is I go to the support.apple website to learn how t complete. Everything has been set correctly. Which allow me to setup it all the way. Can someone help me with this?

iPhone 14, iOS 17

Hi Plzhelp1245,

Since your left AirPod is not connecting to your iPad, we recommend that you try the steps here: If your AirPods or AirPods Pro won't connect - Apple Support

To perform the recommended troubleshooting steps via the link above, complete the steps in the section titled "If you can't connect to your iPhone or iPad."

1. Update your iPhone or iPad to the latest version of iOS or iPadOS.
2. Put both AirPods in the charging case and make sure that both AirPods are charging.
3. To make sure that Bluetooth is on, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
4. If your AirPods are connected, make sure that they're selected as your audio device. If your AirPods appear in the list of devices but they don't connect, go to the next step.
5. Close the lid, wait 15 seconds, then open the lid.
6. Press and hold the setup button on the back of the charging case for up to 10 seconds. The status light on the front of the charging case should flash white, which means that your AirPods are ready to connect.

7. Hold the charging case, with your AirPods inside and the lid open, next to your iPhone or iPad.
8. Follow the steps on the screen of your iPhone or iPad.

We recommend the steps above because they will show you what to do if you can't connect to your iPhone or iPad.
