iPhone 12 won’t update to new iOS

I have deleted apps and photos and large attachments to ensure I have storage, I have done a network reset and I have tired to download via computer but still cannot update to iOS 17. I’ve bought an Apple Watch and cannot connect it without latest software

I can't connect my iPhone with my Apple Watch i recently bought the new Apple Watch and my iPhone won’t aloud me to connect I have an iPhone 11 and 15.1 ios it won’t allow me to update to the iOS 15.6 in order to connect my new watch. When u press Download and install even though I have full bars wifi and my phone is on 80% it won’t allow me to update as keeps popping up as this how do I update my phone [Re-Titled by Moderator]
