i have an iphone 14pro bought 2-3 months ago and now I want to trade it in with new iphone 15 pro. i want to ask is whether trade in is possible at Apples stores in US as I will be travelling to US for few days only

You would have to check with the Apple Store. Is it a US iPhone 14 Pro? Do you actually own it (meaning it wasn’t financed through a carrier device payment plan)? If the answer is yes to both questions you can likely trade it in but you might be better off selling it to get more value.

No one here can answer the question. We are fellow users and are not privy to available inventory. If the store has the device you want in stock you can trade in and purchase. Otherwise it would have to be ordered. You can call the Apple Store you plan to purchase from the day you plan to go or the day before.
