Had to change payment method because old card expired. Will it automatically take out monthly bill for Apple care?

Once your replace the existing card with the new one on your Apple ID, all charges including Apple Care+ will automatically use the new payment method on your account.

If I change my payment method because my old card expired, will it automatically take my billing out for AppleCare? Or do I need to call support?
