Screen time requests not sending notifications to my iPhone since iOS 17

Is anyone else having this issue?? We have family sharing and screen time set up. My daughter would send me requests for screen time from her iPad to my iPhone. But ever since the update to iOS 17, I don’t receive the pop up requests. And oddly, they go to her messages app addressed to my email address, which just says failure to send. So I can’t approve any of her requests remotely. Both devices are updated to the latest iOS (17.0.3). Is there a setting I need to adjust? Does Apple know this is going on and making a fix?? I changed nothing and it’s so frustrating! I have iPhone 12 and iPad is 8th Gen.

Hi! To answer your questions:

Yes

Yes

No (I don’t know what Focus is).

i did find an answer however:

Settings > iMessage > Send & Receive > check your email is ticked on.

I don’t know if it’s new going forward or starting with iOS 17, but the request now goes to your iMessage. You have to click on the message (sometimes a little bit of delay) and the different time options will pop up and can select from there. The person who told me this said they’re not sure why, but some family members get it via iMessage and some via notifications. I’m just glad I can now approve time remotely.

Similar problems- requests go to imessage on my phone or device but I can not give her access AND bizarrely it says “mom” is requesting the time not D. I have checked and all settings are correct. (Including both our apple IDs and message sending) additionally in famiky share my youngest’s location now appears as “Mom”. So frustrating.
