Using MS Teams with Safari 17 Profiles - Sonoma

I am trying to launch Microsoft teams meetings in the Safari Browser. I had set up a profile for my work, however I find that MS teams will no longer launch in the browser when using a profile.

When I did the same using the Personal (Default) profile MS Teams worked as it has done previously - i.e. it works as long as you have turned off cross site tracking in the Safari settings.

I have turned off profiles for now as not being able to launch MS Teams from my work is an issue preventing me using the profiles feature.

Has anyone found a fix for this?

On iPadOS, it seems when you disable cross-site tracking, it only applies to the default (first) profile. I found it also does not apply to other Safari-wrapped browser apps such as Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome. I wish this could get fixed. Profiles and other browser apps would be great to use; but I can’t with this bug in place.

It would also be good if someone could fix the cross site tracking issue. It should not be necessary to have to turn off cross site tracking just for MS Teams. Microsoft say it is an Apple issue - not sure what Apple say about it.

For the moment I am opening all my MS Teams sessions in a Private Window irrespective of the profile. This seems to give me a consistent experience even if it should not in theory be necessary.
