Alarm not working after ios17 update

FOUND THE SOLUTION!! It's the "attention aware features" toggle under the face ID and attention setting!! Toggle it off and your alarms will not go silent anymore.

This was happening to me also where my alarm was going off some mornings with no sound. I did my own testing and the alarm would go off until my iphone detected motion in front of the phone and it would go silent but still needed to be turned off. I toggled the attention aware feature off and my alarms stay full volume and don't go silent with detected motion in front of the screen.

Apple told me to delete the clock app and re-install, it worked for me.

I’m too am pulling my hair out trying to fix this. True! It worked when I set at for 8:30am but not for 6:30.

symptoms:

-running ios 17.1

-deleted and re-created the alarm. Made sure it’s AM

-focus is NOT turned on- no moon symbol

-phone if NOT switched to silent- no bell with cross at top

-deleted all schedule in settings->do not disturb
