While reading an article in Apple news, the app will refresh and kick me out or jump to another article. I have turned off background refresh. I’ve also tried closing the app and restarting the phone completely. But it continues to do this. I have an iPhone 15 Pro with the latest OS.

Me too… or at times, put the news (phone) down for a few minutes because something came up, and when I get back it has already refreshed and moved into other news. Apple has been losing the usability practices they were known for. There are plenty of News apps out there I rather use than paying for a mediocre service.

Still ongoing. Makes news unusable at times. When is Apple going to fix this?
This is happening on my iPhone 15 pro and my M1 iPad Pro. Does not happen on my iPad mini.
I have the same issue. Very annoying. iPhone 13 with latest iOS. Does not make me desire to upgrade to News+ at all.
Apple news continues to refresh every couple of seconds.
