Wallpaper : Icons and Text: How can I change the color of the text to make it much easier to read?

I upgraded to the new sonoma... and with the wallpaper pictures in the background, it's much more difficult to read the text underneath the small icons and folders on the desktop. Can I change the color????? thanks in advance.

You can still right click any open space on the desktop and select "Change Wallpaper."

Pick a background or solid color that makes you happy. Note as is the usual case, you need to scroll down to see all possible selections.
