Iphone XR acting weird after Os 17 updates

iPhone xr keeps restarting after 17.0.2 update. I made an appt to bring to the Apple store. Has anyone experience weird things with their Xr's after the 17 update? I had ample storage and then said none after update?

Getting Out of a Boot Loop:

Your iPhone stuck in a Boot Loop. This typically occurs when you download something, or an update install stalls while in the process of installing. So, refer to my user tip: How to Fix an iPhone in a Boot Loop - User Tip

My iPhone sitting on the coffee table and all of a sudden it restarted by itself. Then it had the spinning white cursor like the battery died. I went and put it to charge, apple logo came on, then cursor spin. I did the force restart and got to the passcode screen, it took several tries to get into phone. Finally got to app screens and apps where missing, some greyed and other app folders gone. I connected the phone to my MacBook and while making an appt from my MacBook, the iPhone went back to normal while connected to mac. Who knows what it will do once I disconnect it. Hopefully nothing else but, when I take it in tomorrow. Watch nothing be wrong with it, lol.

Same here, unfortunately we are forced to update because of security. Maybe future options of updating security is separate from phone enhancements. When I took my Xr in the first thing the reps said it wasn’t due to software update. Both APPLE store reps ran diagnostics and both recanted and said my xr failed due to 17 update and gave me new XR. My XR firmware couldn’t work with 17
