IOS 17 update killed my iphone 14!
I installed the IOS 17 update last night, and immediately found I could no longer toggle on wi-fi. In addition, the phone shuts down after every 2-3 minutes of use, making it nearly impossible to do anything on it. I spent a half-hour on the phone with Apple support today, who sent me to the Genius Bar. Genius could not help either, and told me it seemed to be a hardware issue. However, prior to installing the update I had ZERO issues with my iPhone. So now I have the choice of paying $399 for a repair (my warranty expired just a few days ago) or $900+ for a replacement. With all of the customers reporting issues with this update, it is looking very reminiscent of the update several years ago that made a whole generation of iPhones obsolete. Would really like to know how Apple is going to help the hundreds of us that are reporting issues with this update.
