Safari not compatible with macOS Monterey 12.7

I just updated my macOS to Monterey 12.7. This update included Safari.

Now Safari says that it is not compatible with this OS.

How do I restore the older version of Safari.

I'm on Monterey 12.7.1. My credit card account with Chase no longer supports my version of Safari I'm running-- 15.6.1. And I can't seem to find a way to update Safari without moving to Ventura or Sonora, which I am loathe to do. Does anyone know if that is possible? Thanks.

Hey there billfromgrimsby,

We understand you're seeing a message indicating that Safari isn't compatible with macOS Monterey. We'd be happy to provide information about this.

Make sure that the message that is appearing isn't indicating that the site you're visiting isn't compatible with Safari. Safari comes pre-packaged with macOS, so it will always include a compatible version.

We hope this helps. Kind regards.
