The Find My app has my home address wrong and I'm not able to edit it.

The Find My app has my home address wrong. I've chosen edit to change it, but it won't allow me to do that. Any ideas?

I did check that page and double checked just now when you suggested it. I went to my account information and the only place that I find my address is under "Payment & Shipping". My address IS correct there.

A number of my neighbors that I've talked to get the same "wrong" address that I do on Find My. It's like someone living at that address has all of our devices.

Do you have Wi-Fi (or Cellular), Bluetooth, and Location Services enabled for Find My (either while using, or Ask next time or when I share). Consider enabling Precise Location on that iOS Settings Panel:

Settings : Privacy & Security : Location Services > Find My > ...

With my iPhone 15 Pro Max and iOS 17.0.2 with the above settings, the blue Find My globe is literally right on top of my house for this phone.

I am uncertain that you will get a specific address location. The military can, but I don't believe commercial GPS is allowed to be that accurate. Especially in a complex with significant router radio interference potentially confusing things.

Do you get more accurate Find My readings once you are away from your complex?

I would say it's a database problem, the address is not mapped with correct coordinates.

Report the problem to Apple (type Report a problem in Help), OpenStreetMap or both. Provide the correct coordinates, also maybe a comparison with Google Maps or Mapquest if it's more accurate. They'll investigate.

Have you confirmed that your address is correct on the Apple ID site, and if not, you are permitted to edit it there.

Thank you for trying to help. I do have precise location selected. I live in a complex and the blue dot on the Find My map is very accurate. The problem is the address it gives me for “home” doesn’t correspond to where the blue dot is and is not my address and I am not able to correct it. Correct street, wrong number.
