Yesterday I downloaded an Apple rental film called The New Boy, and stopped it halfway through. Today I cannot get access to it. The rental period was for 48 hours and 24 have elapsed . Please advise. We wish to watch the rest of the film now. Or get an immediate refund.

Rented films can be resumed or rewatched within the rental period. Find the movie in the Library for the account as used for the purchase. Verify that your device is internet connected for best support. Note that the rental period starts at the first start of playback, even if that was just a second, and if you didn’t mean to do that yet.
If watching on a device that supports multiple accounts, then verify that the account that was used for the purchase, is the currently active account. Share Apple TV box with multiple users - Apple Support
