Late 2011 MacBook Pro won’t update

I have a late 2011 13’ MacBook Pro and it will not let me access any websites on safari or update my OS it’s stuck in Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5, I watched a video on updating software but nothing makes sense to me. I just wanna be able to update the computer and search whatever I’d like without it telling me “safari can’t open this page.” It also will not let me download any apps on the computer because the OS isn’t updated.

Earlier displays & monitors
