Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this. Apple wont get back to you directly, but the more they hear of this, the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't repot it.

To Provide Feedback:

1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
3. Comment: that this all started after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread.
4. Proceed from there as necessary

Un-pair the iPhone from the infotainment system settings, and also separately un-pair the infotainment system from the iPhone settings, then check for and apply any available firmware updates for the infotainment system, and then re-pair the iPhone with the infotainment system, and try again.

Then check with the infotainment system vendor, and with Apple.

It happened to me too, force restart the phone. That fixed it for me.
