Just updated iPhone 14 Pro Max to iOS 17.0.2 and now my Calendar app will not open. The app opens on my Mac and has all of my entries, but cannot get it to open on my iPhone. Any ideas?

I was using an earlier free version of the Calalarm app, and when I updated to the paid version all of my Calendar items came back.
Happened to me this morning after updating my phone. You need to upgrade to the paid version of Calalarm. $9.99. Delete the old app & the new version will work, well it did for me. Good luck!
Oct. 25, 2023, I updated my iPhone 12 Pro (i17) everything looks different, it appears as if it’s re-started, I.e. new intro to apps. My CalAlarm calendar will not open. I tap it and get a quick “blink” then nothing happens. The icon reappears on the page. Help?
Clarification the calendar app that will not open is CalAlarm app not the standard calendar app that comes with the iPhone
Yes, that’s what I had to do. Just another way for them to make money off of us.
