Watch OS 10 Horrible Idea

Has anyone found a way to get the favorite apps we lost with the loss of the side button on the bottom swipe? I really miss this feature, and honestly think who ever came up with this switch should be in band design, and not messing with our usage freedoms..

Watch OS 10.0.1 removed side button functionality. Watch OS 10.0.1 removed required functionality for the side button of my AW8. It previously showed me current and recently used apps and permitted me to close them. It now shows Control Center. That is a feature for which I have no use. Please, is there a way to return to the previous side button function? I would like to quit apps when they are no longer being used so as to not drain the battery even faster than it already drains? Make Control Center an obscure app that I might ignore or delete?

WatchOS 10 User Guide-Comprehensive app redesigns for more information at a glance. When might we expect a Apple Watch User Guide for WatchOS 10? Considering the effort that must have gone into "app redesigns", I would like to see information regarding how to interpret the visual information that is presented on the display. Also, what is Smart Stack and what kind of control does a user have regarding its content? In addition, in prior OSs pressing the crown would reveal the app list and the last app that was accessed. This is no longer true, as the app list always starts at the top & alphabetically. The user then needs to scroll to the desired app. Perhaps there could be a default app setting.

Music Playing Indicator I recently updated my apple watch to the new watchOS. Before, whenever I would exit the “Now Playing” app with music playing, the watchface would have a sort of white dot on the top of the screen to indicate there was music playing. It was always quite useful to get back to the “Now Playing” app or Spotify by just tapping the indicator. But with this new OS, it seems that indicator doesn’t exist anymore. Is there anyway to get it back?
