iCloud photo library

If I have all my photo settings correct to share and sync my photos across devices shouldn't I see a photos library in my iCloud drive? Because I don't. It appears my photos are syncing when I check my iphone and MacBook computer. If I click on Finder and Pictures, I see a photos library there. But when I click on the iCloud drive I don't have a photos library. Is that how it's supposed to work?

Hi there,

iCloud Photo Library does not store your photos in a folder in iCloud Drive. When photos are downloaded from iCloud Photo Library, they are stored in a hidden folder.

To view, make changes, or export your photos, use the Photos app on your iPhone or Mac.
