Voice Control and OS 14?
Is anyone else experiencing problems with Voice Control after upgrading to OS 14? I have a MacBook Air 2020. My dictation is on. When I turn on Voice Control, nothing happens.

Are you trying to dictate text to your Mac to type what you say and it is not recognizing your voice? If so, from Use Voice Control commands to interact with your Mac:
When Voice Control is on, you use Voice Control to dictate text; standard macOS Dictation isn’t available. If you just want to enter text using Dictation, without controlling your Mac with your voice, see Dictate messages and documents.
To troubleshoot dictation not working, you can follow:
- If Dictation on Mac doesn’t work as expected
- If you can’t dictate text, type accented characters, or select emoji in the Touch Bar of your Mac
