Is 16gb ram enough if i want to use mac for 2-3 years?

16GB Being Enough:
RAM would only make a difference if you were performing multitasking. So, if you are opening MS Word documents while using Zoom, then lots of multitasking is occurring --and 16GB would do just fine. If you are just someone who uses forums, or watches iTunes purchases, then you are fine at 8GB. What to get for processor, is determined on what you do. So, depending on what you do, and the speed to do it at it what should ultimately determine which to get.

Then the answer is simple; you need more RAM.
How much RAM and storage you need is a personal choice based on your work flow. But remember, nobody has ever complained that having a lot of either was a bad thing.
