What is "Credit" that is shown under my Apple ID in the AppStore?

Tap App Store -> tap your Profile (top right of the screen) -> then you will see your Apple Account balance.

If you have enough money in your Apple Account balance, all you have to do is -> you need to set your Apple Account balance as your default payment.

I finally figured out how to actually use the credit amount. All you have to do is add funds and input the amount you see in the credit minus the amount in your wallet so if i have $20 in credit and i have $5 in apple funds, I’ll add $15 in funds. Once its added you can use it wherever you want.

But I have more in my wallet than the figure showing in credit.

so following your solution I would have to add a “negative “ balance ??

i am still confused what this figure is and as yet nobody from Apple has been able to explain it !

Hi, same issue here - credit showing on my account on my iPad but cant find it showing anywhere else or why that amount would be in there! Any help appreciated.
