Red Wine nightmare

In flight, the passenger next to me bumped into my drink (red wine) and it spilled all over my open 2019 MacBook Pro. It turned off, I tried to clean it best I could on an airplane, the fans are running continuously for about three hours now. It does not turn on.


I have apple care + and am curious to know if they will send it out for repairs and how long that takes, or, will they just replace it?


I have deadlines and this is NOT a great time to be computer-less!


any insights would be so appreciated.

You should contact the official Apple Support about that, or visit an Authorized Apple Service Provider or Apple Store next to your place. They can diagnose your MacBook Pro and tell you more about your service options.

But I'm afraid, it could get costly to get it fixed, if it can be saved at all.
