Email services that work on Mac Book Pro running Catalina

Looking for what email services out there (free or cost) that can be plugging into the SMTP/POP setting on the native mail app on Mac BookPro. I have Optimum, they suck. Switched to Fios but they don't offer email services anymore (should have asked them before I switched) DOH !!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

You either have to change your ISP - most of them provide email. Or, you can keep the current one and open accounts at any web based email provider (Yahoo, gmail, iCloud, or any other). You can hook them up with the Mail app or access them via a browser. POP accounts are rarely used these days, it is mostly IMAP. You'd have to check that availability out when you check the provider.
