blind group text

After updating to the 17.0.2, the option in settings to turn off group messaging has dissapeared. Is this part of the new update or something happened on my phone?

Text Box missing in group chats on Messages App Currently have a group chat with my family. The text box (reply box) keeps disappearing. I have deleted the message multiple times. I have turned off I message several times which helps until I send a message then it disappears again. It only happens in this particular group chat, all others are fine. iPhone 13 on IOS 18.1.1.
