I'm setting up a job interview day.I'd like to set up a running list page that reads:
10am. person a job title. other details
person b bus driver other details
10.15. person c. chef. other details
etc
Is there a way that I can set up the tabs in advance so that I can put in their name and tab across to the next column and that when I print it it's all aligned?

You don't remove the table, just the table decoration. You can readily remove the table title, gridlines, and table outline — leaving just your apparent three columns. You may find that landscape orientation gives you more room for content depending on how much goes into Other details.

Use a table for this purpose. More control over your column separation. Optionally, you can remove the table grid and outline, but the ability to tab between columns remains.
