If the Equalizers Won't Work:

Preset Songs:

The equalizer’s settings apply to all songs until you change the settings, except for songs that have equalizer presets assigned to them.” Is it possible that when the equalizer stops working it is on a song that has a preset?"

thank you for your reply :)

no songs had presets previously, i just had a EQ that i made in the settings but it just keeps turning itself off each song even though it says that it is still activated, which is only an issue which has started happening recently

i gave each song its own preset in response as i didn't want to keep going to settings to turn the EQ off and on for each song as it was getting annoying

i was wondering if there was a method (besides from giving each song an individual preset, which was method i saw for fixing this issue on another thread) to keep the EQ in the settings from turning off

sorry i have no clue if that makes sense at all :,(

my original post was quite confusing oopsy

thank you anyway !! :)

Thank you for the followup reply.

Troubleshooting Automatic Equalizer:

A. Single-Out this Device:

What happens when you play these files on another device? Do you still get the same error? If so, then it is the file giving you the issue. If not, then it is the settings in this device giving you the issue.

B. Re-Download this:

Are these downloaded files? If so, remove the downloaded, and then download them again.

C. New iCloud Session:

Sign out of iCloud on your device, and then sign back in.

D. New Administrator User:

For temporary troubleshooting, create a new Administrator user, seeing if you still get this error after playing it. If so, then it is an issue with the current user. If not, then it is an issue with the app.

E. Boot in Safe Mode:

Boot into Safe Mode, seeing if you still get this error. In Safe Mode, Login Items do not open at log in, and system files (i.e. caches) are intentionally fixed. Then, log back in, seeing if it then works.

You are welcome.

Incompatibility seems to be the culprit here. Having not touched this for some time, a newer operating system or updated software is what fixed this.

Excellent job troubleshooting!
