Hello JGC-Admin,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities, it's great to have you here.
In order to troubleshoot this issue, we have some recommendations which we'll share below. Go ahead and complete all of the steps below and once you're done, test the issue again and see if you have any better luck.
Here's where to start:
- Pull up Settings > Apple ID [your name] > Find My and toggle "Find My" off.
- Force close the Find My, Messages and Settings apps by following the steps here: Quit and reopen an app on iPad - Apple Support
- Navigate back to Settings > Apple ID [your name] > Find My and turn "Find My" back on.
After that, test the issue again and see if you're able to share your location successfully.
If that doesn't do the trick, we're going to recommend signing out of iCloud and signing back in again. To sign out of iCloud, follow the steps here: Sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or Mac - Apple Support. After that, just reverse those steps to sign back in. While we wouldn't expect this process to be a risk for any sort of data loss, it's never a bad idea to make sure your device is backed up by following the steps here: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
We hope that this information gets everything working again.
Many thanks!
