Apple Watch Series 4 stuck on verifying

I am trying to update my Apple Watch Series 4. The update downloads and when it gets to verifying, it times out and I have to start the entire process again. My watch is useless to me now, as I cannot get into it at all. It pairs fine and immediately says there is an update available. I download the update and it gets to the verifying process and times out. There is NO continue for this process. The only options that are available are to start the entire process again or unpair and reset your watch. I have already turned both of these off and back on, reset the watch, reset the wifi, i cannot get into the watch at all to do or use anything. I cannot do ANYTHING on the phone because it forces me to update or exit. I cannot update. Any help would greatly be appreciated. My wifi NEVER cuts out or is intermittent. I have NEVER had any problem with an Apple product until now.

No help whatsoever. I have reset the watch, my iphone, tried the update probably 50 times and it ALWAYS verifying update and gives you NO other options than to try again (which ALWAYS) fails. I cannot use my watch at all now, because it will not do anything with the exception of FORCING you to update our exit out of the update and the watch still will not work. As soon as I pair it with my phone, again it FORCES you to update or back out. These are my ONLY choices, it will not restore from a backup, it will not even let me revert to a version that worked at least. Since this IOS 10.0.1 update, my watch cannot be used, because I cant get past this update. Are you guys replacing these watches or what. I spent a fortune on thins thing and now it is useless to me. My iphone has had the latest update with all of these attempts to get this ios 10.0.1 installed, but it will NOT work and now I cannot use my watch, it is now useless because I cannot even get into it to try the update from there. I have several apple products and have NEVER had a problem with them until now. Is this something that can be fixed over the phone, bacause I have spent 50+ hours trying to get this thing to work. Every time it FORCES you to get the update it takes at least an hour to get the update upon which it fails verification every single time. The problem is NOT my wifi either. All of the devices have been restarted, rebooted and everything. I cannot get into the watch to delete the update file, so WHAT IS the solution to this problem, or am I just out of that money???

Welcome gandolfthewizard,

This is something we can definitely assist you with, thanks for posting here.

Are you seeing the error message "Unable to verify update" at any point during this process? If so, then we want to recommend that you work through the troubleshooting steps here: If you see 'Unable to Verify Update' when updating Apple Watch - Apple Support. Even if you're not seeing that particular error, those steps should still be worth giving a shot as they are geared towards resolving this type of issue.

We hope this information is helpful!

Have a great day.
