I can't use AirPlay after upgrade to iOS 17.0.1

I upgraded to iOS 17.0.1 from 16 today and now can't cast to my TV using Airplay. (It worked last night before the upgrade.)

I've tried to deleting my TV from the Home app and adding it again, but not avail. I tried restarting my phone and no change.

Is this a bug for which anyone has a fix?

(And yes: both devices are on the same network. I reset my network settings on the phone. And when I try to cast, it turns the TV on. But it never receives the content.)

Airplay has been broken since launch of iOS 17, this should be obvious to anyone who is looking at these forums or Reddit.

Apple has not provided anyone the details of why Airplay is broken or for that matter has acknowledged it.

Yamaha and a few other makers of Airplay devices have pointed out that the problem is on Apple's end.

Reseting the network on your phone is the equivalent of Microsoft telling people to power on and off their computers when Windows 3.0 would lock up.

I have a similar problem with airplay 2 devices? Since I got a Matter device and connected it my HOME, my iMac (Monterey) destroyed the HOME app and it cannot be used anymore! At the same time as OS17 was loaded to my iPad and iPhone none of my non-Apple devices will connect to the Home App on those devices. Both Marantz (HEOS) and Panasonic (Google Home) will not play through the Home App? All still on the same WIFI network. The Marantz will play through the HEOS App but not connect to HOME. The Panasonic I cannot get to connect through the Google Home App? All my other Apple H,Pods play through the Home App or Music.......Help

I got on YouTube and found a video that had a lot of suggestions on how to fix this. Eventually, I found something I hadn't tried yet, which was resetting my network settings. That fixed my problem with being able to cast to my TV. I can now do that on AirPlay again. My printer might be a lost cause though. I'm thinking it might be a little too old for my phone to recognize.
