I got a trip to the US scheduled for Oct/12-Nov/02.
I wanna buy my new Macbook now, but it says that store pickup is available on Oct/09. Is there a problem?
Can I pickup in Oct/12 without any problem?

I am aware that the discussion forum is not officially Apple. I just wanted to know if someone has experienced this kind of situation.

PLUS: Contacting Apple local store is difficult because I am not in the US yet - 1-800 just block international calls.
My guess is Apple has a time period they will hold a device before taking whatever action is necessary.
But you'll still have to ask Apple to get a definitive answer.

Confirmed it today! They hold the device for 7 days in the store.
