IOS 17 Search in Calendars doesn't work

Just upgraded my phone two days ago to the iPhone 15 pro. This morning I was trying to search for something in my Calendar. At first I noticed no personal entries, manually entered. It appeared to have only synced with my outlook exchange (work). I did the toggle off with calendars, same with iCloud calendar. That brought the info back on the calendar but I still CANNOT use the search function in Calendars. "No Results: Check the spelling or try a new search". 1. Apple Chat dude couldn't help. Told me to do everything that others have posted about in past issues related to this. 2. Apple support via Phone told me it appears to be an IOS 16 upgrade glitch with no fix in sight. I know this is a total first world issue. But holy smokes. Going through every day to find when an appt WAS or IS....please fix asap. Anyone else have this issue? Did you fix it? Any help is appreciated.
