No Text and Notification tones after 16.7 update on Iphone 12

Having the same issue with receiving notification and text tones as those who have upgraded to iOS 17. It is essential that I receive texts in a timely manner. Like when I receive them. Happens after EVERY update on my iPhone 12. I’ve done everything possible to correct this problem. Followed every suggestion I’ve ever seen on Support to correct this problem. Apple just keeps churning out new versions and new phones without solving the problems that we have with our current phones. Problems that they are creating with their updates. Making me think that I want to go back to an android phone. NEVER had this kind of problem with an android.
