I just bought the apple 15 iphone and the charging cord does not fit into the port in my car. Why not?

When I bought my new iphone 15 it came with one charging cord. I asked for an extra for my car. Neither of them fits into the port in my car. How am I supposed to use my phone when in the car???

Most likely your car has USB A port , so will need a USB A to USB C cord.
