Two iphones on the same id apple suddendly share calling list.

I've got two iphone on the same idApple from a long time! Never had problems in calling list. After upgrade to ios 17 I have the sharing of the calling least on both iPhones. Why before never happened? How to solve this problem without create a new id apple?

And to run two iphones as before?

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 17

According to sources that I came across while responding to this Apple community thread , call sharing happened well before iOS 17. There's also this:

"We offer call history syncing as a convenience to our customers so that they can return calls from any of their devices," an Apple spokesperson told iMore.

Unfortunately, the shared album option doesn't really work for us as it isn't the original/default location where all photos go automatically (as it does today) and you are limited to 5000 images for a shared album. Anyway, it's too bad this bug was 'fixed' as I really really liked the pre-IOS17 behavior with a shared ID for 2 phones with no call history contamination.. oh well.

But u can change your location on google maps/pic it says edit or adjust n everything else but not one thing that caused problems and helps ur partner accuse u of stuff cuz they’re seeing random numbers and tripping balls when it’s numbers at work n kids school etc even my sisters kids schools call me and there’s no way to get deleted stuff back ever like wtf only if I die? Why can’t we get our own stuff back from Apple literally said it’s just gone no way I couldn’t have deleted it for good it’s my only proof ugggg

I have the same exact issue as well after upgrading to IOS 17 - me and my wife's phones which have shared the same apple ID for the last 9+ years and never had any issues. ...now we have our call history all intertwined. Looks like our only option is to have 2 separate IDs and it won't be as easy to have all our photos/video go to the same icloud location where all photos from each phone would just get uploaded together since we shared all that as if it was all from the same phone... bleh - lame.

You can set up a shared iCloud photo album, which two people with different Apple IDs can share. This will solve the issue you seem most concerned about --> How to use Shared Albums in Photos on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac - Apple Support
