When i try to access locked notes after updating i get an error message saying “ can’t view note” i have tried restarting, changing to a specific passcode. Will let me lock and lock new notes but can’t access ones beforehand

After you sign back in with your passcode, see if you can open locked notes. You MUST know the password you used when you locked them. It cannot be found anywhere if you forgot it.
Were you given the opportunity to enter the correct locked notes password you created when you locked the notes?
sadly no, when i click to view i receive that immediately
I did exactly that! It still doesn’t give me the option to enter password but i know the password!
