I’m buying a new 15 pro in the USA will it work in uk with uk sim/esim

There is also a minor issue that only our EE network is listed as supporting eSIM, so options might be rather limited. It might be accepted as a roaming visitor, but I have some concerns whether they could setup onto a UK based plan and accounting.

The USA versions have a different model number (and USA versions are eSIM only).

It is likely a USA sourced iPhone will work as a roaming phone on UK networks using a USA airtime plan and account but there is no information whether the UK networks would be able to activate the eSIM if you wanted to set it up on a UK plan and accounting. It looks like only the EE network supports eSIM in UK.

My advice is to contact the EE network and ask the questions direct to the likely service provider.
