can i share my wifi without sharing my password

I noticed that most androids and and lo brand or no brand devices when i enter my wifi password do not make that password available. But if i let someone access my wifi who has a apple device the apple device saves my password to their device and so now they have my personal information. I should be able to share my wifi without sharing my password. I do not want everyone to access my password.
