I like to use the handoff feature a lot for copying and pasting data. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be working with iOS 17 and MacOS Monterey (Macbook 16" Intel). I've noticed this a short time ago--I have verified that both systems allow handoff, I also tried disabling and re-enabling it, with no result.
How can we fix this?

The current stable release of iOS including bug fixes, security updates is iOS 17.0.1
Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
The current stable release of Monterey including bug fixes 12.6.9
Keep your Mac up to date - Apple Support
shut down and restart both devices and compare your results.
