Just like the title says, for some reason, now, when you're using CarPlay, playing some messages will no longer let you skip them -- the skip button is gone entirely.
Anyone know why that's the case, or what the interface designers were thinking when they made this choice?
It's funny -- I think this only happens with phone text messages, not ones that are coming from an e-mail address.

My screen only asks me if I want to call, repeat and something else I can't remember, there are so many times when I don't have to listen to the entire message. Thanks for your reply I will report to apple, I can only hope it's a bug it's my most used feature.
This is terrible, there are many times I don't want to listen to the entire message, now I am forced to.....
No one knows why (or if it’s intentional or a bug). Know one knows what designers were thinking. Report it to Apple in case it is a bug. I haven’t noticed it in my car (I don’t tend to skip messages when I do let them play via CarPlay) so I can’t say if it is or isn’t happening to me too.
