How do I quickly set my Apple Watch to mute with ios10??

With new software how can I mute my Apple Watch instantly

underneath the crown (round protruding button) click the smooth button on the side of the watch. This works, regardless of whether you have a Watch face, or the apps face.

DO NOT hold the button, as that brings up the Emergency services display.


Once you have the Control Center display up, scroll to the 🔔 icon, which will mute alarms.


You can also tap the Theater 🎭 icon if you like (my preference).


If the 🔔 icon is missing, scroll to yhe end and tap “Edit” where you can add the bell 🔔 icon to the Control Center display.
