If your device is listed as supported for the Google Play store download of the Apple Music app at Apple Music - Apps on Google Play which references the feature you describe as not working:

then contacting support would be the next step. That app page offers the following for app support options:

If you installed a version from a source other than the Google Play store, you may have modified software and may not operate as designed.
