2020 MacBook Air Logic Board Failure bad product

Hello,

I purchased a brand-new 2020 MacBook Air in December 2020 and have encountered an issue where it randomly crashed and subsequently failed to turn on. After scheduling an appointment with a technician at the Apple Store, I received an email informing me that the Logic Board had malfunctioned, and there was a battery issue. The estimated cost for repair is $600.

I want to emphasize that I've taken great care of my MacBook Air; it's in pristine condition and hasn't been subjected to any physical damage or liquid exposure. The technician mentioned that this malfunction was not due to anything I did.

My concern is that I've come across numerous reports online of similar Logic Board issues with this MacBook model. Is this a widespread problem, and is Apple aware of it?

I've always been a loyal Apple customer and love your products, but I'm now faced with a costly repair for a product that seems to have a recurring issue. Can you please provide more information on this and whether there's any assistance or resolution available in this case?

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

Logicactive guy,
