Notification tones and volume

Don’t expect anything from this forum. They deleted all comments from people who already spoke to the Support team.

Here is what “Support” said:

“It’s an expected behavior and up to the app developer to allow changes or customizations to the tone for their app”.

Basically “it’s their fault, not mine!”.

I had to put the volume at max so now literally everything is SCREAMING on my phone but I still can’t hear the default tone.

But Hey, it’s not an Apple issue!

Ridiculous.

I suggest that you submit feedback to Apple:

Note that iOS 17 is not yet an option for selection in the drop down menu. Just make sure it's in the text box.

It seems apple are now aware of an issue with tones in particular purchased tones I had a notification from the support team on “X” earlier they’re looking into it apparently 🤷

Good to hear. Everyone should still keep submitting feedback.
