Does apple have a native app for 2 factor authentication? Not to get into iPhone, but to get into other apps? For example both Google and Microsoft have authenticator apps.

I found it and the password for the app I am looking for within Apple settings. It’s very obscure, but it is in settings. So thank you @SteelCityAnne. It made me look further.

Apple 2Factor Authentication isn't an app , it's a setting :
Settings > Apple ID > Password & Security > 2 factor authentication = ON .

Gald you found Passwords in Settings and that it's what you're looking for. To be clear, it's a password manager, not an authenticator app.
