iOS 17 failed update, iPhone 11 unusable

I attempted to update my iPhone 11 to iOS 17, it was connected to Music (iTunes) on my Mac. I now have a white screen with “swipe up to upgrade” I swipe and a grey screen appears with Enter Passcode on it along with a keyboard. I enter my usual passcode, and nothing happens, I’ve also tried 123456, 000000, nothing works. The phone is not visible in Finder or Music on the Mac. I’ve tried several reboots to no avail.
