Widgets keep appearing after deleting them, when I turn iPad back on

The widgets continuously reappear after I delete them, every time I turn my iPad back on. Someone else posted what they were told to do and I tried that, but the stupid widgets STILL came back when I turned my iPad back on. Plus, it won’t let me reset the display on the bottom, of what I want on the bottom

Hi Cathy ,

I'm not sure what you have already tried but this is how I remove widgets :

How to remove widgets :

Touch and hold the widget that you want to remove.
Tap Remove Widget.
Tap Remove again to confirm.
